What a sweet little story this piece tells! Such a good dog to sit patiently while his mistress places the kibble on his nose or is she rewarding him for “shaking”? No detail was spared—note the tassel and piping on the pillow; the expression of both child and dog; her tiny toes and fingers and the beautiful wave in the spaniel’s ears, making this an endearing keepsake. There’s no damage on the piece, save a tiny flea bite (pardon the pun) on the pillow. It measures roughly 6” x 4” x 3.5”.
